New music in 2026
A lot of my favorite bands released new albums in 2025:

But there are a few artists that haven't dropped a new album in a while who I'm looking forward to hearing from this year.
Poppy has a new album coming out in a few weeks. Bilmuri have released a couple of singles from their unannounced upcoming album. The new Bad Omens album is still TBA but the singles have been really good. A new Electric Callboy album will be interesting, and I'm looking forward to a full length from Amira Elfeky.
I'm not the biggest Evanescence fan but I'm curious what a new album will sound like after Amy Lee's recent collab with Poppy, Courtney Laplante, and Jordan Fish. I Promised the World is a Gen-Z throwback screamo band I'm kind of excited about. Imminence should have a new album this year, as well.
A new artist I'm excited about is Showing Teeth. I've watched this young lady singing and screaming in her car over the last year or so, and now she's got one song out with Periphery's drummer on it. Hopefully we hear more from her this year.
